Chartreuse String Trio is made up of violinist Myra Hinrichs (Chicago), violist Carrie Frey (New York), and cellist Helen Newby (San Francisco). Chartreuse strives to expand the string trio repertoire through close collaboration with emerging and established composers. Their performance will feature the world premiere of palilogia-fragmente by Hillsdale College Associate Professor of Music, Daniel Tacke, along with works by Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho, Tatar-Russian composer Sofia Gubaidulina, and selected fantasias by Henry Purcell.
